MOTOR REDUCER SINGLE AXIS

Product Description

This module features a durable yellow plastic housing containing a series of reduction gears. While a standard DC motor spins too fast and with too little force to drive a wheel directly, this Motor Reducer slows the rotation down and significantly increases the “pushing power” (torque).

The Single Axis design features a flattened output shaft on one side, specifically shaped to lock into standard robot wheels, gears, or pulley systems without slipping.

Usage Tips

1. Direction Control: To reverse the rotation, simply swap the positive and negative wires connected to the motor terminals.

2. Soldering: Be careful not to apply heat to the metal terminals for too long, as the surrounding plastic can melt.

3. Powering: Avoid powering the motor directly from an Arduino’s 5V pin, as motors can draw “spikes” of current. Always use a dedicated battery pack or a motor driver module.
